TAIJIQUAN IN BULGARIA
In Bulgaria the martial arts enter comparatively late. The beginning is in 1957 when in the supreme institute at physical training in Sofia for the first time a demonstration at Judo is held. The first federation in Bulgaria is at Judo, but Karate and Aikido are not very popular. At this time there was no information about Wushu. In 60-70's martial arts was priority only to the police, militaries and other special forces.

In 1970 he was in Thailand. During one of his trips to Shanhai he noticed in one of the parks, a group of people who were moving very slowly, making fluid but concentrated movements. He asked the teacher of the group to teach him some lessons and then he found out that the teacher was the famous master at Chen style - Gu Liuxin, personal student of Chen Fake, 17 generation Chen family. For 45 days he learned a lot and changed his life. There he had the possibility to meet Huan Jieming and Wang Xizhong who gave him good advisement in the martial arts.
When he came to Bulgaria he established the esoteric society "Green dragon" ("Qing Long") in Sofia. The authorities several times called him (Krassimir Dimitrov) in the police to explain what are these secret societies. But at the end of 1988 the political situation changed. In 1989 the communist party fell down. When the democracy came the martial arts already could be practiced by the ordinary people and the first Wushu federation was established in 1990.
